The hotels used on our tours will meet the standard of a good, three- or four-star European hotel. Rooms will have private bathrooms, telephones and TV. There will always be a bar or restaurant on site or nearby.
Hotel Jose Antonio Miraflores, Lima (nights 2-3, 12 & 17)
This four-star hotel is at the heart of Lima's Miraflores district, a visitor-friendly haven lined with vibrant shopping areas and charming cafés to explore. It features an onsite restaurant, offering traditional Peruvian dishes as well as popular international classics, and a cocktail bar. Hotel Royal Inn Puno, Puno (nights 8-9)
Located in downtown Puno, the Royal Inn offers colourful suites with free Wi-Fi, one block from Plaza de Armas central square. Facilities include a restaurant and lively bar.
Casa Andina Standard, Colca (night 10)
The Casa Andina Standard Colca is located in Chivay, at the edge of the Colca Valley. This secluded hotel offers guest accommodation in traditional stone houses. The hotel restaurant serves a variety of Peruvian dishes, using vegetables grown in the garden.
Hotel Los Tambos Colonial (formerly Hotel El Conquistador), Arequipa (night 11)
Set in an 18th-century building, this hotel features colonial architecture. It offers a café and restaurant. With warm touches of colour, the rooms display lively canvas or wall paintings signed by local artists. The rooms offer TV with cable channels and free Wi-Fi.
Inkaterra Hacienda Concepción, Peru (nights 13-16)
This eco-friendly hotel is surrounded by its own, 800-hectare, private reserve. It has a restaurant, a bar and lounge, and free Wi-Fi. The public areas and cabanas are open to the surrounding jungle, and each guestroom has private facilities, mosquito nets and a hammock.
