The hotels used on this tour are of a three- and four-star standard. Rooms will have private bathrooms, telephones and TV. The vast majority will also have tea- and coffee-making facilities, and there will always be a bar or restaurant on site or nearby. You will also enjoy seven nights on board a Holland America Line cruise ship.
Mount Royal Hotel, Banff (nights 1-2)
Located close to the Banff Upper Hot Springs, the Mount Royal Hotel offers comfortable, well-appointed rooms with air-conditioning and tea/coffee-making facilities. The hotel boasts fantastic views of the surrounding mountains and has a rooftop hot tub.
Whistler's Inn, Jasper (night 3)
On the main street of this very small township in the mountains, this hotel has two restaurants, a pub, a gift shop and an outdoor hot tub. All rooms have private facilities, TV and telephones.
Please note: Tours departing in 2026 will stay at the Lobstick Lodge, instead of the Whistler's Inn, while in Jasper.
Kamloops Area Hotel (night 4)
Accommodation is arranged by Rocky Mountaineer and will be of a moderate standard. Other accommodations may also be used, including those in the nearby resort of Sun Peaks on certain dates. You will be advised of your overnight accommodation during check-in.
Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre, Vancouver (nights 5, 13 and 14)
Set in two modern towers on bustling Burrard Street in downtown Vancouver, this polished hotel offers guests accommodation in sleek rooms, with floor-to-ceiling windows, safes and TVs. Other facilities at the hotel include a restaurant and fitness centre with indoor pool.
